The Limited Edition G2655TG Streamliner™ Center Block Jr. Double-Cut with Bigsby® bursts into the modern era with powerful sound and style in a smaller package. Featuring gleaming gold hardware, metal G-Arrow control knobs, and pearloid Big Block inlays, this limited edition version is designed for the guitarist who demands more than the mundane from an instrument - more performance, more style and most importantly, more volume - while retaining everything you expect from a Gretsch.

It was built for players looking for a guitar that blends the identifiable Gretsch sound with high-gain rock tones. Two high-output, custom-wound Broad'Tron BT-3S humbucking pickups effortlessly push amplifiers into overdrive while the chambered center block in the body resists feedback at loud volumes. Meanwhile, a Bigsby-licensed B50 vibrato perfectly fits the smaller arched maple body and gives the LTD Streamliner diverse pitch control for maximum expressive possibility. Simply put, the Gretsch LTD Streamliner Center Block Jr. is a refined amalgamation of old-school personality and new-age tonal dexterity.

This insrument sticks close to what has made Gretsch guitars look so desirable over the years. A pair of F-holes divulges the guitar's semi-hollowbody construction, with a thinline body that is very comfortable to play for longer gigs. The LTD Streamliner is also decorated with vintage-vibed, multi-ply binding that wraps the entire instrument. And the gold hardware and pearloid Big Block inlays

The LTD Streamliner Center Block Jr. uses vintage-style construction and a modern electronics package to deliver tones that will fit equally well with a low-wattage rockabilly band as it will through a high-gain amp stack. The semi-hollow design adds warmth and clarity to the guitar's tone. And a Bigsby licensed vibrato allows for Duane Eddy-style pitch bends. But make no mistake: when cranked, the high-output, custom-wound Broad'Tron BT-3S humbucking pickups are engineered to deliver screaming rock and fusion tones. Feedback is kept nicely under control via the body's center block.

It plays and feels every bit as good as it sounds. Its soft C neck profile is round enough that chording remains comfortable in all positions while being thin enough to facilitate fleet-fingered single-note runs. The thinline, double-cutaway construction is comfortable against your body, and it gives you unimpeded access to the guitar's highest frets. And the controls have even been thoughtfully laid out to not interfere with your picking hand technique.

BROAD'TRON BT-3S PICKUPS:
The G2655TG features our high-output Broad'Tron BT-3S pickups. Utilizing a combination of Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets, the BT-3S pickups provide stronger mids, tight but full lows, and smooth clear highs that retain a smooth and musical presence.

VERSATILE CONTROLES WITH COIL-SPLITTING:
The Streamliner's sonic power is harnessed and shaped by our traditional control layout - neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching.

The addition of a push/pull pot on the master volume control allows coil-splitting to provide useful single coil sounds, adding another layer of tonal versatility to an already strong sonic arsenal.
