Following the introduction of the first Lâg SAUVAGE guitar in 2022 as a TRAVEL, 2023 sees the expansion of the SAUVAGE series to include all of Lâg's most popular body shapes and preamp options. Continuing Lâg's tradition of innovation, the Sauvage series guitars feature FSC-certified BrankoWood and a new, more environmentally friendly varnishing process. With aesthetics, acoustics, and the environment in mind, the Sauvage series is a truly unique approach to guitar making.

Back to nature... and the guitar became Sauvage:

The finest details, the most innovative designs, and always a touch of originality—that's what sets a LÂG apart from other acoustic guitars. The new LÂG SAUVAGE guitars combine this original sense of aesthetics with ecological considerations, both in the choice of woods and their construction.

The Sauvage features a solid Pale Brankowood top with captivating grooves and a smoked Eucalyptus body with a decidedly raw appearance. The perfectly controlled tropicalization process results in a robust soundboard with a balanced sound, amplified by its arched back.

This is an original guitar with character, whose variations in terms of both sizes (Dreadnought, Auditorium, Parlor, Travel, etc.) and options (cutaway, electro-acoustic, nylon) guarantee you'll find the one that suits you.

Exceptional sound and an ecological commitment:

The FSC-certified BrankoWood used for the solid top (Pale) and the fingerboard and bridge (Black) is the result of an innovative tropicalization process that gives renewable species the tonal qualities and consistency specific to rare and protected woods, or those about to become so. The smoked Eucalyptus body finish is also designed to reduce fine particle and chemical emissions during the final sanding. The shape of the back has been carefully designed to ensure beautiful projection and rich bass.

The tropicalization process provides great resistance to variations in temperature and humidity. Add to that the high-quality padded gig bag that comes with it, and you can take it anywhere. If not, it's the one that takes you.

Like all Lâg guitars, the new Sauvage range has been designed without compromise. Every detail has been carefully considered to provide the best value for money and an excellent playing experience. Graphite saddles ensure tuning stability and optimal response, oil-immersed tuners with an 18:1 ratio allow for easy and precise tuning, while the two-way truss rod gives you complete control over your guitar's tuning and action. To complete this aesthetic, a wolf, the perfect embodiment of this wild spirit, adorns the soundhole design.
