The new Electromatic Jet Two 90 line of electric guitars from Gretsch channels tradition and innovation with a no-nonsense design that’s ready to rock and inspire. Retro-inspired looks come together with a plethora of color options, powerful P-90 pickups, an authentic Bigsby vibrato, and the unmistakable sound of a chambered mahogany body.

The easy-playing 24.6-inch laurel fingerboard and set mahogany neck are player-friendly and more than ready for expressive riff, licks, and tricks. Plus, these Electromatics boast hardware and appointments that look amazing and are ready for onstage performance: there’s a gloss finish, a stained headstock cap, and a tortoiseshell pickguard. Meanwhile, high-performance sealed tuners and a Adjusto-Matic bridge make sure perfect pitch is never a matter of if, only when.

The Electromatic Jet Two 90’s chambered mahogany body delivers the classic rich high-sustain power and punch of a mahogany solidbody, but with noticeably enhanced resonance and warmth. The chambering process also reduces weight — a win-win! A maple cap atop the body adds a touch of tonal brightness.

The gloss-finished “Thin U” mahogany neck’s set design is comfortable, especially toward the upper frets, and it also enhances sustain. What’s more, a 24.6-inch laurel fingerboard yields soft, supple string action that’s instantly familiar, and a pre-installed Bigsby B50 system puts smooth bends at your service. Between its lightweight combination of classic tonewoods and supremely playable features, the Electromatic Jet Two 90 gives players incredible playing comfort without compromising tone.

Two freshly revamped P-90-E pickups give the Electromatic Jet Two 90 delectable tone that’s worthy of the Gretsch name. The P-90Es’ true single-coil design delivers thick vintage-tinged tone with a midrange emphasis that’s perfect for rock and cutting through any mix. Of course, these pickups are hefty enough to howl when driven, but they certainly play nice on their own clean, or as a platform for pedals.

With Gretsch’s unique control scheme, there are also ample opportunities to dial in your perfect tone. Independent level controls for each pickup give you precise output options, but there’s an additional master volume control that’s a great feature for live performers who frequently change pickups.
